Conservation Leadership Initiative (CLI) Intern: Audubon Florida

Job Description:

This internship will help the Conservation Leadership Initiative (CLI) Program Associate plan and recruit for the next Fall's Student Cohort. CLI connects 25 Florida college student annually with the Audubon network, conservation projects, and professional development opportunities. The intern will also assist in developing new education initiatives at the Center for Birds of Prey in partnership with our Education Manager.

  • Build relationships with contacts at colleges and universities across the state of Florida for CLI program(link is external) recruitment, with a focus on HBCUs and MSIs.
  • Support the CLI Program Associate in planning upcoming events such as the 2021 CLI Cohort onboarding at the Audubon Assembly.
  • Assist with Center outreach initiatives including in-person and online special events.
  • Provide support to the Education Manager for education projects.
  • Support the daily operation of the Center for Birds of Prey, which could include responsibilities such as Guest Relations, education and outreach, or animal husbandry.
  • Other duties as needed and assigned.
