Public comments sought for Loxahatchee

The Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge is pleased to announce that the Draft Visitor Services Plan and Environmental Assessment (Draft VSP/EA) is available for a 30-day comment period from September 10, 2018 to October 9, 2018. The Draft VSP/EA outlines goals, objectives, and strategies for implementing and managing existing, new, and expanded wildlife-dependent recreational opportunities to meet the purpose of the refuge and the mission of the National Wildlife Refuge System as a whole.


The Draft VSP/EA can be found:

  • Online by visiting: https://www.fws.gov/refuge/arm_loxahatchee.

  • In person at the front desk of the Loxahatchee Visitor Center located at 10216 Lee Road, Boynton Beach, FL 33473. Open daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

  • At the Main Library, Hagen Ranch, Wellington, West Boynton, or West Boca Branch of the Palm Beach County Library System.

Comments will be accepted during the 30-Day comment period from September 10, 2018 to October 9, 2018. Interested parties can submit comments:
