GLOBE Virtual Exchange Toolkit pilot program

The GLOBE Implementation Office (GIO) seeks GLOBE trained teachers to participate in a GLOBE Virtual Exchange Toolkit pilot program from September 2019 - December 2019.

The GLOBE Virtual Exchange Toolkit is a resource developed in partnership with the U.S. Department of State designed to support teachers in conducting synchronous (live, e.g. Zoom, Google Hangouts) and asynchronous (time-delayed, e.g. recorded, social media posts, or email) virtual exchanges using GLOBE research, protocols, and data collection as the common connector.

Benefits for teachers include: increased GLOBE program engagement, opportunity to connect with an international school, combining science, technology, and communications in an interactive experience for students, and supporting the GLOBE Program community with post-pilot program participation feedback on the teacher's experience using the GLOBE Virtual Exchange Toolkit.

In support of this GLOBE Program effort, please:

1.     Forward this communication to your teacher network.

2.     Email our team directly with recommendations.

Requests for responses by Friday, 30 August 2019.
