Call for Proposals Open

LEEF's next meeting is a MiniCon on October 6, 2018 at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. The Call for Proposals is now open. Our theme this meeting is "Faces of Environmental Education." We are looking for a mix of speakers that will give us a variety of presentation topics. If you've never been a presenter at a conference, now is your chance.


The online application is here.



You will have the choice of applying for 20 or 40 minute time slots.

You will be asked to select from the list below to help registrants category your talk :

1. Research and Evaluation (complete or ongoing)

2. Behind the Scenes (funding, volunteer management, etc.)

3. Best Practices (activities, curricula, and success stories)

4. Professional Groups (tell us about your EE related professional group)


Please note: Presenters must also register for the conference. ​

Call for Presenters ends September 14th, 2018.

Presenters will by notified by September 18, 2018.

Founded in 1983, the League of Environmental Educators in Florida is the professional association for individuals and organizations dedicated to the cause of environmental education in Florida. We are the state affiliate for North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE), an organization that brings together those interested in the study and enjoyment of our natural world and one that has promoted excellence in environmental education throughout North America and the world for over four decades.
