Join environmental education professionals from around the state as we explore the history and future of environmental education at our annual conference. The League of Environmental Educators in Florida (LEEF) is a network of professional environmental educators throughout the state of Florida. Conference attendees will enjoy our field trips, professional development, evening networking events, educational sessions, and much, much more!   

The League of Environmental Educators in Florida has been serving environmental educators throughout Florida since 1981. LEEF supports environmental educators in Florida to achieve their vision of a statewide culture of environmental literacy and stewardship. Environmental education (EE) encourages inquiry, investigation, and the development of skills that enable responsible decisions and actions that impact the environment. 

We anticipate at least 100 formal and non-formal educators from across Florida. Our conference attendees are educated consumers who are happy to support green companies and educational organizations & agencies.

Founded in 1983, the League of Environmental Educators in Florida is the professional association for individuals and organizations dedicated to the cause of environmental education in Florida. We are the state affiliate for North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE), an organization that brings together those interested in the study and enjoyment of our natural world and one that has promoted excellence in environmental education throughout North America and the world for over four decades.
